Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After your early morning breakfast, depart from Kampala for Bwindi, which is located in South Western Uganda and is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Along the way, you will be treated to spectacular views of the landscape, which ranges from flatlands to rolling steep hills; it is truly a breathtaking journey. Have lunch en route in Mbarara before continuing on to Bwindi National Park, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Check into your preferred lodge; whichever lodge you choose will provide you with the feel and view of the park, as well as the amazing sounds of water flowing and birds in the dense forest. Have a good dinner and a good night’s sleep.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

On this day, get up early enough to eat breakfast and pack your lunch before being driven to the park headquarters by your driver guide. Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast before checking out of the lodge and beginning your journey to Kibale National Park. On this thrilling journey, there will be plenty to enjoy, including the scenery in Kabale. You will have a photo stop if necessary as you continue to Kibale National Park, where you will arrive late in the evening. Proceed to the lodge and check in. Before going to bed, you could go for an evening forest walk where you might see some bushbabies (this is based on the accommodation facility you are using). Return to the lodge and rest, as you have a long and interesting day ahead of you.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest and Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe.

After your early morning breakfast, head to the park for Chimpanzee tracking; it’s an incredible experience. You will also have the chance to see beautiful birds and primates such as White and Black colobus monkeys, Baboons, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and Grey-cheeked mangabeys. When you meet the chimps, you will be amazed as you watch them jump on different branches, feed and play, and see nests in which they rest/sleep. Return to the lodge and rest, as you have a long and interesting day ahead of you. Take as many photos as you want, but turn off your camera’s flash. Later, return to the lodge for lunch, check out, and get back on the road to Kampala or Entebbe, depending on whether your flight is that day.
