Day-by-day Itinerary: 4 Days Kidepo Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

In the early morning, you will meet your driver’s guide who will give you a warm welcome to the country before you embark on your drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. You will then start up your drive from Kampala on the long route to Kidepo Valley National Park.

On your way, you will stop before reaching the park for your lunch and check in for your dinner, and overnight to your would-be-booked accommodation.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

Safari in Uganda – Kidepo Valley National Park – Karamoja Region

After your wonderful breakfast, you will start with a fascinating game drive through the arid river River bed, savannah, small forests, hills plus the foothills of the mountains to marvel at the impressive flora and fauna in Kidepo Valley National Park. You will head to the Karankorog Hot springs as you witness the numerous animals that roam in the park along your way.

The experience is absolutely fantastic since each game drive has a different experience even if you repeat the same route more than once. You will head back to your lodge where you will have your lunch, and later in the evening, you will be privileged to spend some time with the Karamojong people. Day 3: Cultural Walks and Game Drives

You will return to the park after the game drive and after having your lunch, you will set off for a cultural walk. After your cultural walk, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport

After a delicious morning breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kampala or Entebbe by your driver-guide. This quite a long journey will take you about 8 hours. You will be dropped off at your preferred drop-off point at either Kampala or Entebbe.
