Payment Information – Kabira Gorilla Trekking Safari Company
We are pretty flexible on the majority of these if you notify us of your concern.
To confirm your reservation, we need to secure your gorilla trekking (habituation experience) permits and chimpanzee permits. And we are required to make full payment for these permits to fully confirm them and so we also request you to make this payment at the time of booking.
If the tour you’re planning is at least 60 days (or more) out, any deposit that can cover the cost of the gorilla and chimp permits is acceptable.
The Permits’ costs are (per person, per day/trek):
- Uganda gorilla tracking permit – US$700
- Uganda Gorilla Habituation Experience permit – USD1500
- Uganda Kibale Chimps tracking – USD200
- Uganda Kibale Chimpanzee Habituation Experience – US250
- Uganda Kyambura Gorge Chimps – USD50
- Rwanda Gorilla Tracking permit – USD1500
Because most hotels/lodges/camps require payment to confirm bookings, we kindly ask that you pay in full prior to the start of your tour/safari.
If you have already paid for the permits, you can pay the remaining at any time before the tour begins, as long as it is within 20 days of the start date. This is not a rigid policy, however, if we lose your preferred hotel/lodge reservation due to your failure to pay on time, we will not be held liable.
The guideline is that we should have received your entire payment before you begin the journey. As a result, you can even pay on the day of the tour’s departure. Aside from that, we need money to run your tour. Last-minute payments may cause the tour to start late, especially if you need to take money from an ATM.
Having said that, the majority of our clients prefer to make a single full payment to avoid bank fees and the stress of paying installments.
Methods of Payment
Bank Transfer: Our preferred method of payment is by electronic bank transfer to our bank. The money are delivered within 3-5 business days.
