4 Days in Botswana: A Perfect Itinerary (for First Timers)
This four-day Botswana itinerary puts you in the center of Botswana’s Okavango Delta, one of Africa’s top wildlife hotspots. This freshwater river delta is a remarkable ecosystem of marshes and trees that is teeming with wildlife and provides amazing opportunities for birdwatching.
On Chief’s Island, the biggest in the Delta, you can spend your evenings in Chief’s Camp. This classic yet opulent safari lodge is ideally situated to provide excellent game watching. You may take game drives across vast floodplains or explore the waterways from the comfort of a speedboat or dug-out canoe, known as a “mokoro.” Enjoy the variety of traditional savannah animals and water critters while keeping an eye out for the numerous predators in the area.
