Once there, you’ll travel through baobab woods and set up camp at Oliver’s Camp, right in the middle of the park.

Day 1: Welcome to the wonders of Tanzania

We will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and welcome you to Tanzania.
Transfer to Arusha
Overnight in Arusha

You will be escorted to your Arusha hotel for the night following a cordial airport greeting. Have a restful night’s sleep after your lengthy journeys. You can experience a taste of Tanzanian life and culture by touring the vibrant town of Arusha if time permits.

Located at the base of Mount Meru, one of Africa’s tallest mountains, the city of Arusha serves as a portal to some of the continent’s most breathtaking natural attractions. This charming village is a cultural and environmental treasure trove, perfect for a pre- or post-safari pit stop. Day 2-3: Tarangire: Elephants, Baobabs and Flamingoes

Overnight in Oliver’s Camp

You and your guide will go out for Tarangire National Park after a leisurely breakfast. Starting in rural Tanzania, you’ll head southwest until you reach the park gate. From there, your game drive will begin, allowing you to explore the park’s richness until you reach Oliver’s Camp. Tarangire National Park is home to enormous baobab trees, verdant meadows, and large herds of elephants, all of which can be explored from this vantage point. In addition to thriving lion and leopard populations, there are also sizable buffalo herds.

With over 550 bird species to be seen all year round, Tarangire boasts the country’s highest concentration of mammals during the dry season. If you prefer a more leisurely pace while exploring the park, our expert safari guides may arrange wildlife drives or instructive walking safaris. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to softly glide above the plains wildlife on a hot-air balloon safari in the early morning offers a fresh viewpoint.

Day 4-5: Explore the Ngorongoro Crater and Spectacular Wildlife

You will depart the park for The Highlands Camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after a hearty breakfast accompanied by the sounds of nature. Indulge in the awe-inspiring panoramas of faraway volcanic mountains from one of eight distinctive geodesic dome suites. There are two showers, a toilet and hot running water in each suite’s own bathroom.

Take a game drive around the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ngorongoro Crater in a spacious seven-seater vehicle equipped with pop-up roofs, power outlets, and refrigerators. Olmoti and Empakaai Craters are great hiking destinations, and if you’d like to see herders bringing their cattle in for the night, there’s a Maasai town close by.

A honeymoon suite with a hot tub and a family dome are available at the site. Relax in the spa’s sauna after a long day of exploring, and then head to the whisky bar for some pre-dinner cocktails by the fire. Day 6-8: Experience Serengeti’s Splendor at Sayari Camp

Your light plane flight to the northern Serengeti will depart this morning from the airfield, which is three hours’ drive away. Gather here with your guide from the acclaimed Sayari Camp, where you can witness the Great Migration firsthand during specific months. Thousands of wildebeests rush and splash across the crocodile-infested Mara River from the camp’s great location, and farther afield, you may search out the rich resident animals.

With mahogany flooring, king or twin beds with beautiful linens and colourful cushions, and plenty of natural light, each of the fifteen romantic tented suites at Sayari Camp exudes an air of tranquillity and romance. Among the many opulent bathroom amenities are outdoor showers on decks, freestanding tubs with views of the savannah plains and walk-in showers. Unwind on your expansive veranda with a good book and watch the world go by. Another amenity at Sayari Camp is a rim-flow pool surrounded by rock formations, perfect for cooling down while you observe the graceful antics of wildlife like zebras and elephants.

After a relaxing deep tissue massage, go on an exciting safari where you can see rare black rhinos, gazelles, zebras, and other large cats. There are two Retreats at the camp that provide groups and families with a more private setting.

Day 9: Final Serengeti Moments

Flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport

Indulge in a last hearty breakfast as you watch zebras, wildebeests, and elephants strut past the camp. Your guide will then accompany you to the airfield to board a flight to Kilimanjaro. Your journey back home will end at this airport, marking your last stop in the region.
