Overnight/Multi-Day White Water Rafting on the Batoka Gorge

Experience the most thrilling and difficult rapids rafted on Earth for an extra two or three days on our epic rafting tour! According to many, the world’s finest rafting river is the Zambezi River, which flows downstream from Victoria Falls. Class 3–5 rapids and placid pools are features of the Zambezi River, a deep-channeled, high-volume river.

  • Pick up by our vehicles directly from your accommodation (time to be advised at booking). Your gear for the
  • overnight will be loaded into our vehicles.
  • Snacks on the side of the river at Rapid 10.
  • Upon arrival on the beach at Rapid 21, the camp will be ready. Dinner and overnight on the beach around a campfire.
  • Wake up at around 6am. Tea, coffee and breakfast.
  • Rafting from Rapid 21 to Rapid # 25 or further on to Lower Moemba –
  • 2nd night on the 3 days trip just below the Upper Moemba Rapids.
  • Drive back to Livingstone through the African bush in a 4WD vehicle, crossing several traditional Zambian villages.

Fitness Level: You need to be in average shape. This activity requires a little bit of easy rock climbing. Requirements: 15 years of age or older; maximum weight: 120 kg

Packing List: Sandals, Running shoes or tennis shoes that don’t mind getting wet (no flip-flops!), Sun cream. Quick drying shorts. Personal medication if required.
