Hydrospeed surfing at Victoria Falls
Hydrospeed surfing at Victoria Falls is an adrenaline-fueled water activity where participants use a specialized board (hydrospeed or “anvil”) to navigate and surf rapids in the Zambezi River, typically at Rapid #2 below the Falls. Offered primarily by Bundu Adventures, this, combined with swimming near the “Boiling Pot,” offers a unique, intimate view of the gorge during low-water season.
Swim beneath the majestic Victoria Falls and then hit the waves on our brand new Hydrospeed “Anvil”—a paddleboard that’s as easy to control as it is to ride at fast #2. It won’t take long for your guide to show you the ropes when it comes to wave surfing. You should be able to do this if you’re rather fit.
You may have a blast and stay completely safe surfing the wave. How about we combine this with a thrilling rafting adventure down the formidable Zambezi River or a dip under the Victoria Falls?
