Days 2–3 Eastern Serengeti Nature Refuge

Visit a private wildlife sanctuary in the Serengeti’s eastern region by taking a short, picturesque flight. During the day, you may stroll around the sanctuary and feel the earth as it was thousands of years ago. At night, you can take a moonlight drive and hear a Maasai storyteller recount tales of her people.

Days 4–7 Serengeti National Park

Make your way to the world-famous Serengeti, a stretch of grassland dotted with granite kopjes and acacia trees. You may see the Big Cats and other Tanzanian species in the Serengeti on a daily basis, and you can also see the Great Migration of zebras and wildebeests at its most spectacular periods.

Days 8-9 Ngorongoro Crater

The fall of a volcano created Ngorongoro Crater, which is just 10 miles wide. There is now the densest predator population in all of Africa, and the environment is self-sustaining. You may beat other safari-goers to the floor of the Crater, which is teeming with wildlife, by camping on its rim in the morning.

Days 10-11 Lake Manyara National Park / Tarangire National Park

Spend the morning animal gazing at Lake Manyara National Park before driving off for Tarangire National Park, where ancient baobab trees tower above some of the largest herds of elephants in all of Africa. Keep a lookout for the hundreds of bird species Tarangire is famed for—and spectacular encounters between predator and prey at the park’s drinking holes.
