Half Day and Full Day Kayaking & Canoeing in Victoria Falls
As you paddle upstream from Victoria Falls in a two-seater canoe, you’ll pass by numerous islands in the Zambezi River and see wildlife, birds, and secret passages.
Seek out the plethora of wildlife by following your expert canoe guide! Elephants sometimes visit during the dry season (July–November) to drink and slobber in the mud. Always be on the lookout for hippos and crocodiles. Very common animals seen are kudu, impala, waterbuck, baboons, and warthogs. The area is home to about 350 different bird species, and birdwatching is at its best during the wet season (December–April). Experience the real wildness with our overnight option: set up camp on an island, sleep beneath the stars, and feast on a delicious beachside meal while watching hippos frolic in the neighboring river. Amazing Africa!
