Day 1: Start your Chimpanzee And Gorilla Habituation Tour
Gorilla Habituation Experience In Bwindi Forest National Park
Your 5-day chimpanzee and gorilla habituation safari will begin when your driver-guide from Kabira Safaris picks you up. Our safaris often begin very early in the morning with picture pauses at the Equator crossing and a lunch break in the town of Mbarara. The southern region of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is where gorilla habituation experiences are now being conducted, therefore you will travel there next. The route to Kisoro or the southern region of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is particularly attractive as you get to view the Kigezi rolling hills and valleys. For dinner and an overnight stay, you will arrive late in the day.

Day 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will get up early and travel to the park headquarters to meet with other guests for a training on what to do and what not to do while interacting with mountain gorillas during your habituation experience. You will begin your trip into the forest under the guidance of researchers and guides after the briefing. Once you have located the gorillas, you will spend four hours with them before returning to the lodge for the night. During your hike, you might come across various birds, other creatures, and primates in the jungle. You will get the chance to see and listen to researchers as they work to accustom gorillas, and if at all feasible, you will be asked to contribute by gathering samples, identifying group members, placing calls, and doing a variety of other things.

Day 3: Drive To Kibale Forest National Park
On the third day of your five-day safari, you’ll travel from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Kibale Forest National Park. Since lunch will be served along the way, you will arrive in the late afternoon for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 4: Chimpanzee habituation in Kibale Forest National Park
Chimpanzee Habituation Trekking – Kibale Forest National Park
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be driven to Kibale National Park for a training on what to do and what not to do when interacting with a group or party of chimpanzees. You will begin your trip into the jungle after the briefing with the possibility of spotting any of the other 11 primates there. During your day-long chimp habituation adventure, you will be accompanied by guides and researchers throughout the forest. after dinner, head back to the lodge to spend the night.

Day 5: End of Chimpanzee And Gorilla Habituation Safari
