Epic Full Day White Water Rafting on the Zambezi River

Come raft with us for a whole day and face the world’s most thrilling and difficult rapids! According to many, the world’s finest rafting river is the Zambezi River, which flows downstream from Victoria Falls. Class 3–5 rapids and placid pools are features of the Zambezi River, a deep-channeled, high-volume river.

While rafting down some of the world’s most thrilling and difficult rapids, you can take in the breathtaking scenery of the Batoka Gorge. There are trips that range from a few of hours to a six-day journey to Lake Kariba. Embrace the thrill of the Zambezi at every turn… An alternative is to take a helicopter ride out of the canyon.

  • Pick up at around 7:45 by our vehicles directly from your accommodation.
  • Check-in next to the Victoria Falls.
  • Free Swimming under the Victoria Falls (depending on water level)
  • Free video of the day´s trip
  • Rafting from Rapid 1 to Rapid 21
  • Snacks during the day
  • Return to your accommodation at approximately 16.30 hrs.
  • the given times include pick up from the accommodation in town, safety briefing, hiking the gorge, short rests during the trip, lunch and transfer back to town

Drop-off Time: around 14:00

Fitness Level: You need to be in average shape. Because you have to use wooden ladders for part of the descent and ascent, the gorge walk is strenuous. Age requirement: fifteen years or older. Maximum weight: 120 kg.

Packing List: Sandals, Running shoes or tennis shoes that don’t mind getting wet (no flip-flops!), Sun cream. Quick drying shorts. Personal medication if required.
