You will be in the best spot to see the Great Migration while the herds are in the area if you travel north to Sayari. An appropriate Ugandan farewell to your safari is a three-night stay at Erebero Hills, with its ancient landscapes and abundant wildlife.

Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania
Your gracious host at Legendary Lodge will be waiting to greet you when you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport. In this peaceful location at the base of Mount Meru, you will be staying on a thriving coffee farm. After a long day of travelling, unwind in your cosy cottage with a therapeutic massage or some peaceful time to yourself.

Day 2 – 3: Experience big cat country at Namiri Plains
Your journey to Seronera Airstrip in the Serengeti National Park will begin after a hearty breakfast as you make your way to Arusha Airport. An agent from Asilia will be waiting to take you to Namiri Plains when you arrive.
The Serengeti is well-known as a habitat for exceptional animals and as the site of the world’s most spectacular wildlife migration, the Great Migration. Game drives and walking safaris, accompanied by an expert guide, are available from your private accommodation at Namiri Plains, allowing you to explore this great wildlife habitat. Big cat sightings are legendary in the Namiri Plains region.
When you’re not adventuring in this untamed landscape, unwind with a massage or soak up some rays from the poolside loungers.

Day 4 -5: Explore more of the Serengeti from Sayari
You will be staying at Sayari Camp in the northern Serengeti, so make your way to the airfield this morning for your flight to Kogatende. During the Great Migration, which takes place in this Serengeti area from July to October, you may witness the magnificent river crossings up close and personal.
You can enjoy game drives or simply just sitting in camp and watching wildlife surrounding Sayari outside of migratory season. While you’re not out viewing the many creatures for which the Serengeti is famous, relax in the spa, take a dip in the pool, or just sit on your veranda and listen to the wildlife.
There are fifteen large tented suites available at Sayari, and for those looking for something more private, there are two Retreats.

Day 6-8: Take to the forests of Uganda
Go back to the airfield this morning to catch a flight to Entebbe, and then continue on to Kihihi airfield. You will be escorted to the newest Asilia camp, Erebero Hills, by a representative from Kabira Safaris.
Because of its proximity to two entry locations into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Erebero Hills is a great place to start a gorilla trekking adventure. Indulge in a luxurious massage to relax aching muscles after a day of trekking over the highlands in pursuit of gorillas to witness.

Day 9: Bidding farewell to the forest
