Tongabezi Lodge in Victoria Falls Owned Green Safaris

Perfect lodging on the banks of the Zambezi River right upstream from powerful Victoria Falls is provided by Tongabezi Lodge. Nestled amid leafy trees, the remote camp offers a great romantic African getaway or a venue for families to bond by combining exclusiveness and romance with privacy. Back off and let the amazing views of the Zambezi River gliding by sink in. The fact Tongabezi does not have a specific agenda will appeal to independent-minded tourists.

Though there are lots of events on offer, enjoy doing as much or as little as you like. With so many white-knuckle sports available, including rafting, bungee jumping, and bridge swinging, Victoria Falls is the adventure capital of Africa. Searching for elephant and hippo, you can also venture out on nature and bird watching walks, 4X4 game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park or boat excursions on the Zambezi. Visit local marketplaces and towns for goods and souvenirs; naturally, you should also see “The Smoke that Thunders,” Victoria Falls, best seen up close.

Along with a private family residence called The Dog House, Tongabezi features three distinct decks and two little islands joined by wooden bridges. Along with an exclusive-use boat and game-drive vehicle, guests have the services of a professional butler and guide.
