Day 3: Congo Lowland Gorilla trekking in Kahuzi Biega National Park

On Day 3 of your Lowland Gorilla trekking safari, be ready to wake up early and be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing. After a briefing from the park rangers, you then go for the Lowland Gorilla trekking tour. Unlike Mountain Gorilla trekking which is much more strenuous due to the high altitude, Lowland Gorilla trekking is much easier.

The Lowland Gorilla trekking experience takes about 1-4 hours depending on where the Gorillas spent their previous night. They live in bigger groups which makes the experience amazing with spectacular sights. You spend 1 hour watching the Gorillas interact.
