8-Day Uganda And Tanzania Primates Safari | Great Apes

An 8-day primates safari spanning Uganda and Tanzania typically features a combined itinerary focusing on chimpanzee tracking on Tanzania’s Rubondo Island and mountain gorilla trekking in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

The Primate Edition Small Group Tour offers an exciting alternative to the regular Big Five of East Africa. The five set departure dates between September and November venture across Tanzania and Uganda, for an 8-day adventure of tracking primates through ancient forests.

Go on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that combines two of the most life-changing wildlife encounters in all of Africa. With a small group of like-minded travellers, you’ll go chimpanzee tracking on Tanzania’s Rubondo Island and then into Uganda’s mysterious Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you can see the world-famous mountain gorillas.

An unforgettable safari like this one will bring you face-to-face with the untamed core of East Africa, its natural wonders, and the importance of conservation. Communed with no more than nine other passengers.
