The months of June through November, which make up the dry season, are ideal for a trip to Zambia. The days are hot and the nights are cold; the skies are cobalt blue. Across the country, temperatures might range from 23°C to 36°C. During this season, there are also plenty of chances to see wildlife.
Even though the camps are temporarily closed in January and February for the wet season, Victoria Falls is still a fantastic standalone attraction that can be enjoyed on a safari. The moniker “smoke that thunders” is justified in this situation. The Kalolo-Lozi people came up with the term because they were able to observe the massive spray and mist clouds from afar.
Even if it rains outside of the wettest months, the mild weather, few visitors, and excellent birdwatching more than make up for it.
