Gorilla Doctors is dedicated to gorilla conservation by providing medical care to ill and injured Mountain and Grauer’s Gorillas living in the national parks of Uganda, Rwanda and Republic of Congo. The organization also helps to rescue and treat those orphaned by poachers.
With only 1,004 mountain gorillas, and an ever-decreasing number of Grauer’s Gorillas left in the world today, the health and wellbeing of every individual gorilla is vital to the species’ survival. Gorilla Doctors play a vital role in preventing the extinction of these magnificent creatures.
